Eligible for the job
The eligibility criteria for the job of IT Consultant in the Ministry of Planning Development & Special Initiative are as follows:
1. The candidate must have a Masters degree in Computer Science from a HEC recognized university.
2. The candidate must have at least 10 years of post-qualification professional experience in ICT sector with demonstrated expertise in systems analysis, design, and development, software engineering, database administration or management.
3. The candidate must be a Pakistani national and age should not exceed 55 years on the closing date of applications.
Responsibilities of an IT Consultant
An IT consultant is responsible for providing advice and assistance to organizations on all aspects of information technology. This includes but is not limited to hardware and software selection, implementation and maintenance, network design and administration, security, data management, and disaster recovery. In addition to technical expertise, an IT consultant must also have strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively advise and work with clients.
