Role Responsibility: 

The Writer/Sub-Editor is expected to generate ideas and prepare features / articles that focus on pressing issues across Pakistan. 

Duties will include sub-editing, generating/commissioning ideas, working with reporters to develop stories, and to take a lead role in ensuring the delivery of planned articles to stations across Pakistan on a daily basis. 

Candidates must have:

Editorial judgement and the ability to guide reporters through complex issues that require coverage.

You will need detailed knowledge of issues around the country, sharp writing skills, and the ability to respond in a fast-moving news environment.

Work space: 

Candidates will follow the hybrid work arrangement, which involves working remotely, for now.
