Responsibilities
- Ø Prepare and manage the daily production data base of producing fields (Operated/ Non operated assets) and placing recommendations to optimize hydrocarbon recovery throughout the project life
- Ø Reserve Evaluation for Exploration and Development leases using volumetric/ static measurements
- Ø Perform material balance calculations for oil & gas reservoir. Thus facilitating augment recovery by optimizing the timing of wells and compression.
- Ø Assist in development of production profiles for different investment proposals, development plans and budgeting purposes.
- Ø Use Decline Curve Analysis for assistance in reserves booking and forecasting purposes.
- Ø Use of ECLIPSE reservoir simulator and support in running reservoir simulation models/ studies
- Ø Assist in identification of favorable hydrocarbon zones for perforation and re-perforations using open hole and cased-hole logs
- Ø Pressure Transient test design and interpretation comprising the analysis of draw down/ deliverability and Build up data
- Ø PVT and Nodal Analysis for operated and non-operated fields/ wells
- Ø Preparation of production budget, forecast, short and long term plans as well as their variance analysis
- Ø To witness onsite data acquisitions like DST, PSP/PLT, BHP survey and surface well testing
- Ø Assist management team in preparing presentations
- Ø Farm-in opportunities/ assets evaluation
- Ø Provides supports in planning the future operations and assessment of resources needed to carry out development plans.
- Ø Prepare and present Reservoir Management section in Technical Committee Meetings and Technical Workshops
- Ø Preparation of documents like DOCs, FDPs and well completion reports etc.
Requirements
- Ø Must have Bachelor’s degree OR Master’s degree in Petroleum/ Reservoir Engineering from a recognized university
- Ø Candidate must have 5-7 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry (E&P sector) in Reservoir Management
- Ø Multi-disciplinary experience in Reservoir Engineering including reserves evaluation, knowledge of reservoir modelling, well testing data acquisition and analysis, rig and rig less operations, well performance monitoring as well as involved in production forecast and planning
- Ø Ensure to apply prudent and efficient reserves management honoring both long term and short term objectives and strategies
- Ø Handle all information obtained in the course of work with adequate confidentiality
- Ø Be able to develop & maintain a good interpersonal relationship with other team members (peers/colleagues)
- Ø Must be able to work under pressure and have acceptance of responsibility
- Ø Strive, through work and attitude, to become a valued team player
- Ø Take part in strong interdisciplinary cooperation both intra- and interdepartmentally
