Qualifications:
- Diploma of Associate Engineer in (Electrical, Mechanical & Electronics)
Experience:
5 Years
Overall responsibilities:
- To monitor and diagnose malfunctions in machinery and device and effectively communicate with the control room officer & AM/Team Leader (Operations) during plant normal and emergency.
- To perform the duties of Control Room Officer under specific instructions of the plant management.
- To synchronize with Control Room Officer in safe isolation of device for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- To discuss with control room officer and AM/TL (Operations), measures to improve production methods, device performance and quality of product.
- To analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
- To carry out and complete all HSE related Tasks and trainings with in the assigned target date, these tasks can be assigned via different audits.
- To control and ensure Implement pre-use checks for all tools, equipment’s and PPEs prior to every use.
- Implement site HSE inspections in his area to identify situations, conditions, aspects that may pose risk to employee, equipment or/& environment.
- Conduct HSE Risk assessments of routine and non-routine work activities and implement controls as needed/assigned.
- Ensure implementation of visitors / contractor’s induction process is followed as per site induction procedure.
- To supervise and keep an eye on maintain record of all meters and gauges or automatic recording devices at specific intervals to verify operating conditions.
- To supervise and keep an eye on data such as temperature of device, hours of operation, temperature or pressure, and fluid levels.
- To maintain log of all the field activities carried out during his shift.
- To control opening and closing of valves as required for proper system operation and mechanical isolation.
- To open and close circuit breakers for proper system operation and electrical isolation.
- To raise work orders for required operational preventative and corrective maintenance.
- To comprehend technical manuals and system piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- To comprehend and ensure compliance with all plant HSE and regulatory procedures.
- To maintain cleanliness; and repair of power plant device.
- To comprehend OH&S risks / hazards and environmental / legislative aspect / impacts related to work activities.
- To be responsible for housekeeping of his assigned plant area and participate in monthly housekeeping inspections.
