Vacant Positions:

1-Assistant Manager - Procurement

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Qualification:
Minimum 16 (sixteen) years of education in the field of Engineering / Business Administration or Master in Contract / Supply Chain Management from HEC recognized University.

Experience and Expertise: 
Minimum 3 (three) years of experience in a similar role and having expertise in coordinating procurement activities, contract administration including solicitation preparation and contract negotiations. Ideal candidate should have understanding of the PPRA rules, PEC-by laws and contractual practices, FIDIC contractual practices and Contract Act 1872.The candidate must have ability to draft, negotiate and manage procurement processes.

Upper Age Limit: Maximum 35 years

Job Description

  1. Assist, Manager and Sr. Manger to develop and maintain policies and procedures for the procurement activities performed according to the concerned department’s requirements.
  2. Analyze and evaluate the requisitions and identity the procurement process under PPRA Rules, 2014
  3. Administer overall process of quotation based procurement activities.
  4. Receive purchase requisitions demand from the concerned departments with proper specifications and requirements.
  5. Assist Manager Procurement to verify vendor’s /supplier’s capabilities ; identify the pool of candidates for the planned procurement activities
  6. Receive quotation/proposals and prepare comparative statements for further processing.
  7. Prepare and issue purchase order/ work order/contract to the concerned suppler/vendor/contractor after approval of the competent authority.
  8. Follow up procurement activities are performed according to the plan.
  9. Ensure that procured goods, works and services as per approved quotation/purchase order.
  10. Ensure that goods and materials are received as per specifications, requirements and approved samples.
  11. Ensure to provide delivery of the purchase materials/items to the store section, executing the control of dispatch list/invoices as well as the follow ups.
  12. Responsible to ensure that all the relevant documents like (Payment Note, Requisitions, award letters, GDN, invoices, verified quotations, comparative statements etc) are attached with voucher while contractor payment processes towards finance and accounts department.
  13. Follow up with finance and accounts department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the suppliers/vendors.
  14. Prepare departmental reports where necessary/ demanded.
  15. Perform any other duty assigned by the departmental heads.

2-Assistant Manager Budget Finance 


Qualification: CA (Inter)/ACCA/ACMA with 3 years relevant experience or Masters in Finance

M.COM/MBA with 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience: Experience of BIG 4 shall be given preference.

Age Limit: 35 years

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare project-wise costing and budget for all new initiatives taken by the Company and monitor the utilization on actual basis.
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Budget variance of the company and highlight variances with justifications, comments and remarks and in case of any revisions or re-allocation within heads and sub-heads.
  3. Maintain an updated list of outstanding Receivables and Payables and submit periodic reports. At the end of month, a Monthly Receivables and payable Ageing Repost shall be prepared.
  4. Maintain project-wise detail of anticipated outflows and monitor the liquidity position and status of receivables and payables for proper fund management.
  5. Maintain the Accounts Payable Subsidiary Ledger, including inputting all supplier transactions, and update list of outstanding receivables.
  6. Ensure all payments amounts & records are accurate.
  7. Verify items billed against items ordered and received and reconcile the differences.
  8. Responsible for maintain a record of advances to suppliers contractors, employees, etc. to ensure their timely adjustment and recovery.
  9. Verify the bills, invoices and annexures for errors and casting mistakes, and also ensure proper withholding of applicable taxes.
  10. Ensure monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements are prepared and approved by authority.
  11. Ensure cheques are prepared accurately as per payment approved by the CFO or CEO and dispatched/ delivered through an appropriate medium on timely basis.
  12. Check all receipt and payment vouchers (i.e. CPV/BPV/BRV/CRV) for proper annexures, approvals, calculations and appropriate system entries.
  13. Account for all pending reimbursements, TA/Das, advance adjustments and other deductions to be made in the salaries.
  14. Any other tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Department

3-Assistant Manager Landfill 

Responsibilities:

Handling of waste disposal at the disposal site under assistance of Manager Landfill.
Managing the subordinate staff deputed at the disposal site.
Management of the control room at the Landfill site.
Assist Manager Landfill in maintenance of the equipment installed at the Landfill site.
Routine reporting to Manager Landfill about the amount of waste coming to the site.
Studying and proposing the modern methods of disposal.
Any other task to be assigned by the Manager Landfill.
Reporting about the vehicles taking waste to the disposal site showing the number of trips of these vehicles and any other observation.
 
Skills Required:

  • Able to work under pressure and for extended hours as per requirement.
  • Managerial, problem solving and Negotiation skills
  • Analytical skills and Multi-tasking
  • MS office and good English writing skills

Education: Minimum 16 years of education in environmental Sciences/Environmental Engineering or any other relevant field.

Experience:1-2 years of work experience at some waste management facility.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years


4-Manager Internal Audit

Qualification: The candidate must be:

  • Member of a reorganized body of professional accountants; of
  • Certified internal auditor; or
  • Certified fraud examiner; or
  • Certified internal control auditor; or
  • Person holding a master degree in finance from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience of internal auditing in a well reputed public / private sector organization. Public sector company exposure/experience would be preferred.

Age: 45 years

  1. Carrying out the audit plan as designed by Chief Internal Audit.
  2. Coordinate work with procurement, legal, finance and operations departments for Internal Audit.
  3. Deciding how best to schedule audits/projects, allocate audit resources, and improve audit processes/procedures.
  4. Developing audit engagement scope, completing field-work, preparing audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed
  5. Perform audit procedures to verify that controls are operating with the Company.
  6. Analyze and conclude on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment.
  7. Document the results of audit work in accordance with the Best Practices of and internal auditing and applicable standards.
  8. Help Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) in preparing timely audit reports for executive management, the Audit Committee and the Board of the Directors of the Company.
  9. Assess, evaluate and promote compliance to internal direct policies.
  10. Contribute, as appropriate, in the year-end financial audit with the external auditor
  11. Provide advice on internal control and participates in enhancing internal audit standards and practices
  12. Provide feedback on performance of Internal Auditors, on audit assignments, as applicable
  13. Communicating audit results and observations on periodic audit as demanded by the Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) or Audit Committee.
  14. Perform any other duty assigned by the Chief Internal Auditor/ Managing Director.
  15. Any other functions assigned by the Company
