Purpose:
To operate and manage a computer system for necessary data entry and retrieval purposes along with data base query operations. Also, ensure that the respective database always remains updated, and that required information is provided to all concerned on immediate basis.
Education & Relevant Experience:
- Minimum Graduate; additional computer training/certification
- 1 to 2 years’ relevant experience
Knowledge:
- Data Management
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Basic knowledge of SAP
- Typing speed
Areas of Responsibility:
Business:
- Carry out dispatching of MRU wise data from Web to Handheld Unit (HHU) and vice versa while ensuring requisite Meter Reader rotation as per Company policy.
- Assist AM MR in screening of meter reading data to check for any abnormalities/discrepancies.
- Ensure check reading for all abnormalities including visible consumption variance, validation of certain MR notes, average/assessed/inactive anomalies etc.
- Ensure proper & timely routing of abnormal cases needing resolution by other functions (RPR, CM, PM and NC) as per prescribed guidelines/SOPs.
- Generate reports, perform backup operations, scan documents and print files as and when required.
- Respond to queries for information and access relevant files, comply with data integrity and security policies.
- Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctioning.
