Qualification: DAE Mechanical
Experience: 3 years of experience as a CAD designer/ AutoCAD draftsman in Petrochemical/ Oil & Gas/ Fertilizer industry

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the design and creation of site plans, isometrics drawings, structural drawings, plot plans, piping layouts, drawings for plant equipment including heat exchangers, pressure vessels and different types of process equipment. The AutoCAD Draftsman will be required to establish and maintain project schedules and meet deadlines for multiple drafting projects. These include shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
To produce 2D and 3D professional engineering drawings for process plants. Coordinate with operations and carrying out field visit to prepare mechanical package drawings as per plant specifications. Bill of Material preparation. Dimensioning & dimensional verification from field and sketching of existing facilities. Prepare sketches and box-up designs / repair procedures after field verification for repairs and maintenance. Stay up-to-date on all issues, updates, and progress of all projects related activities. To maintain the drawings, manuals and specification etc of whole plant and update them as required with properly maintained numbering system. To maintain high safe working standards and keep good housekeeping in the drawing office. Maintain CAD drafting project schedules and report status of all the assigned drawing jobs to the Project Engineer / Unit Manager Project. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Knowledge & Skills:
The candidate should possess excellent Piping Design / Structural Drafting skills/Equipment drafting. Full command of AutoCAD software. Expertise in Plot Plans, Structural Drawings, Piping Isometrics, and P&ID drafting. Perform changes, additions, and/or revisions to drawings as required. Use conceptual sketches to prepare plans and set drawings such as site plans, existing conditions plans, details and perform updates to additional drawings. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Good knowledge of safety standards, procedures and precautions at process plants. Ability to communicate effectively with Management. Must be self-motivated and have a strong drive for results.
