Fatima Group is hiring for Engineer Machinery Technical Services at Fatima Fertilizers Plant Site, Sadiqabad. The ideal candidate should have the following:
Qualification: Bachelor in Mechanical Engineer
Experience: 5 years of relevant working experience in the fertilizer industry or similar process industry
Location: Sadiqabad
Key Responsibilities:
- Support plant maintenance activities and provide technical expertise to reduce repetitive failures of rotating equipment and implement reliability programs to improve plant performance.
- Provide field support during start-ups, shutdowns, and initial Turnaround and Inspection (T&I) for all major process equipment.
- Conduct rotating equipment performance evaluations by conducting performance tests to assess, troubleshoot and optimize gas Compression processes. Review and evaluate design or proposed changes.
- Review the equipment's historical data and conduct reliability studies.
- Lead and participate in teams preparing the start-up, normal operation, and shutdown procedures and developing of department SOP.
- Hands-on experience utilizing Emerson CSI-2130/2140, pruftechnik, and System-1 tools.
- Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning of new equipment, field checkout, and testing walkthroughs and prepare exception list and work on resolution-related exception items.
- Able to develop CAPEX, OPEX, Store and Spares yearly budget and regularly monitor spare parts inventory relevant to his unit.
- Coordinate with Vendors and Equipment Manufacturers for effective job handling and able to perform technical evaluation of different vendors and its proposals.
- Understand and ensures implementation of all company policies in his area.
- Plans, coordinates and controls the work of his employees to ensure that the objectives and functions of his unit are clearly understood and fulfilled.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Trouble shooting and RCAs
- Analyze and diagnose root cause of equipment failures by leveraging an understanding of troubleshooting techniques, failure patterns, and failure modes of equipment.
- Applies understanding of the process and related PIDs of an area in failure analysis & develops an action plan to avoid re-occurrence.
- Liaison with OEMs to develop equipment RCAs.
HSE & Quality:
- Personally responsible and committed to ensuring the safety of his personnel and the company facilities at all times in line with company IMS Policy. Creates awareness regarding the use of PPE and ensures their proper use by all employees.
- Ensures that his area is being operated as per approved Work Procedures and Work Instructions which are developed in compliance with relevant legislation and regulations of Quality management system as defined in Quality Policy.
People Management:
- Manages efficient utilization of available human and material resources in his area of responsibility.
- Encourages employees to be innovative, and creative and to generate ideas for the growth of the organization.
- Settles grievances of employees to their satisfaction as far as possible, maintains respect and dignity at all levels, and strives to keep the employee's morale high for high productivity.
- Maintains both ways of communication with employees for effective feedback on all matters.
