Fatima Group is hiring for Field Maintenance Engineer - CAN at Pakarab Fertilizers Plant Site, Multan. The ideal candidate should have the following:
Qualification: BSc. Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 3 - 5 years Experience
Location: Multan
Job Summary:
1 - To provide overall Field Maintenance services at CAN/ CN Plant including area related activities maintenance (Preventive, Predictive, Corrective & Breakdown) of Pumps, Blowers, Agitator, Belt & Screw Conveyers, Heat Exchangers, Piping & other mechanical items.
2 - The person shall also be responsible and accountable for implementation of relavant safety rules and maintenance procedures at shop floor level & providing strong & efficient support for all interfaces (customers)
Key Responsibilities:
1 - To provide overall mechancial maintenance services at CAN / CN plant including Routine PM, Corrective & Breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipments like Pumps, Agitators, Blowers, Screw & Belt Conveyors, Powder/ Slurry handling equipment, Piping, Tanks, Heat Exchangers, Vessels.
2 - The person shall also be responsible for implementation of all relavant safety rules and maintenance procedures at shop floor level & providing strong & efficient support for all interfaces ( customers) primarily Operations.
3 - The detail work scope may include (but to limited to): Receive maintenance work requests through eAM, evaluate jobs physically and depute relvant manpower & resources for the job as per criticality & urgency. Give detailed instructions on job performance procedures & special checks regarding QC / QA. Coordinate among various support sections like Operations, Craft, Workshop, Inspection, Supply Chain, Finance, Planning & Admin for timely availability of resrouces / services for quick & efficient completion of jobs. Supervise & control all the jobs at all critical steps to ensure quality standards. Handover completed job to relevant customers after QA / QC checks & record updation. Arrangment of spares / Services from Market / material warehouse for execution of jobs. Record keeping & maintaining maintenance history of all the relevant machines Impelment monthly PM Plans and plan for upcoming major jobs. Provide inputs for Annual Budget, job planning etc.
4 - Implement Staff training & skill certification plan at shop floor level & train staff on new / improved maintenance techniques.
5 - Ensure safety & housekeeping at his area of responsibility.
6 - Support all relevant interfaces for timely completion of actions assigned from various forums related to his area of responsibility.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
1 - Knowledge of HSE procedures & practices
2 - Basic Repair & Maintenance philosophy
3- Knowledge of API / ASME / ASTM / Standards related to Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Conveyors, Blowers, Piping, Gasketing, Valves, PSV's
4 - Basic Mechanical Maintenance Techniques overview
5 - Knowledg of industry best practices for mechanical Maintenance at Fertilizers Manufacturing / Oil & Gas Plants
6 - Standards / best practices knowledge related to earth moving vehicles.
7 - Daily, Weekly planning through eAM
8 - Turnaround Planning & Execution
9 - Budget Planning and resource Optimization
10 - Implementation of Industry best practices (RAGAGEP) at plant for maintenance
