General Banking Officer - Hub, Baluchistan

A. Daily Maintaining the records at Branch level which are mentioned below:

 DCRS: Details of daily temporary and permanent recoveries.
 SDCRS: Totals of cash received.
 Daily Reconciliation Report
 Cash Register
 CRR Movement Register
 CRR Tagging Register
 Safe Key Register
 COC Register
 Petty Cash Register
 Stationary Register
 Fixed Asset Register
 Cheque Received Register.


Branch Opening and Closing Register

 GBO should check the due list on daily basis and make sure to check the pending collections then RO’s are assigned to collect those recoveries from those customers.  The active phone numbers of the clients and the guarantors to be updated in the Fusion System liaising with Finance and Operations Department
 Daily timely deposit of cash in the designated branch before day end of banking hours.
 Ensure cash in safe and transit are within the insurance limits, if amount of cash exceeds the insurance limit, GBO should intimate admin department by 5:00 pm on that day. If GBO does not inform and any mishap happens, then He/She is whole solely responsible.
 Liaising with clients to avail the disbursed loans from the assigned banks (Collection of COCs from the branch and collect the loan proceeds)
 Making clients aware the banks and SBP regulations in terms of money laundering, terrorism financing and the repercussion of committing such activities. Provide advise to clients that they should not make any payments/commissions to our staff or any Activists. If same is learnt, such information to be escalated to the management and not to issue the COC to clients.
 Checking the security alarms, lockers, note checking machine on daily basis, making ensure that they are up to the mark. If any problem is identified, admin and security department has to be informed immediately. Maintaining Dual controls at all the time with proper registers.
 GBO should review the Branch assets and overall decorum of the branch.


B. Daily submission of following to the Finance Operations Department in Head Office:

1. DCRS*/SDCRS*
2. ICAA*/ICAM (Fusion generated report)
3. Daily Reconciliation Report*
4. Scanned Daily Deposit Slip*
5. Cash Memo Register (of that day)
6. Cash Safe Register (of that day)


Note: All MIS reports (Hard Copies) are dispatched to Head Office, which are verified and signed by the BM.

C. Branch Level Activities of a General Banking Officer:

 Posting of collected recoveries by RO’s, in DCRS and Fusion.
D. Fixed Assets:
 On Quarterly basis, fixed Asset register has to be maintained. All details of Assets in the branch has be tagged accordingly and records are maintained in fixed asset register. If any repair or damage occurs, admin department has to be informed for repair or replacement.

E. Petty Cash:

GBO must maintain proper petty cash register at branch and update on daily basis
 All vouchers should be duly verified and signed by BM and well supported by evidences.
 Proper summary should be made at the given petty cash format. And it should be signed by GBO and BM.

F. Maintaining & Handling CRR and Stationary

 GBO should monitor the CRR Books assigned to RO’s on daily basis. If any CRR slip or Book is lost, damaged, or stolen, GBO should immediately inform BM, Area Manager and Finance Operations department in Head Office.
 CRR requisition form is sent finance operations department via email duly singed by BM and GBO. This form contains the details of required number of books and details of the CRO’s to whom the book shall be tagged.

Any other job as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
