To analyze requirements and problems in order to refine and finalize the functional use cases as well as developing and monitoring data quality metrics and ensuring business use cases and reporting needs are met.
What You Will Do
Implementation, Operations & Support
- Analyze business requirements given by functional/Stream owners to establish complete understanding of the requirements.
- Refine business requirements into the business solution requirements for the understanding of technical development/implementation teams (via PRD/SRS)
- Translate inputs from business to solution design and validate them against business objectives
- Establish effective change control for user requirements
- Confirm completion of all requirements documentation, distribute and communicate requirements documents to relevant stakeholders and ensure IT-related business requirements are signed off by the business and sponsor
- In Agile project, finalize user stories & use cases for sprint-wise development in agreement with the business owner & development team.
- Analyze & present the problems impact, solution possibilities and recommendations for the business owner to review & finalize
- Ensure regulatory compliance is covered within finalized business requirements
- Identify clearly between functional (what the solution should do) & Non-functional requirements (how the solution should work)
- Review & ensure that FSD & Solution Design is aligned with BRD & PRD/SRS.
- Support during project implementation in case if new/changed business needs are identified during implementation, which need to be catered through CRs.
- Conducts impact analysis of new / changed business requirements during or after implementation phase.
- Responsible for UI/UX assurance from business owner
- Review & ensure that business UAT test cases are complete and aligned with finalized business requirements for execution by the business UAT team.
- Test concepts with the business through UAT to ensure that the delivered system is fit for purpose/specified intended use
- Assess problems and their business impacts.
- Review BRD and PRD and their business impacts.
- Check regulation compliance against finalized requirements at BRD and PRD level.
What You Will Need
- Bachelors in IT/ Computer science.
- Minimum 5 years of banking experience as business analyst or functional analyst.
- Banking settlements and transactions knowledge is preferred.
- Digital banking applications and branch banking knowledge is preferred.
- Business/Functional analysis skills for Banking or Fintech domain (Digital banking is preferred)
- Expert business requirement analysis skills
- Excellent Customer facing applications behavioral and functional analysis skills (Digital applications are preferred)
- Proven analytical background.
- Advanced Excel/ MS word/ Power Point/ Visio/ MS Project skills.
