Position Summary:
The incumbent is responsible to investigate branchless frauds related matters and to support unit head to implement internal controls to mitigate associated risks. Moreover, the incumbent is responsible to conduct investigations of suspicious mobile wallet transactions and maintain records of each activity.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Design, implement, or maintain fraud detection tools or procedures in an efficient manner.
- Monitor interbank transfers and payment gateway related transaction on real-time basis.
- Conduct in-depth investigations of suspicious financial transactions in an effective manner.
- Investigate easypaisa customers, merchants and vendor to authenticate payment transaction.
- Take immediate actions against the involved parties (MW accounts, Merchants) to prevent fraud losses.
- Contact customers for additional verification wherever required.
- Prepare incident reports and submit to the line with effective communication.
- Maintain logs, records, or database of all necessary information about fraudulent activity & promotional activities.
- Negotiate with responsible parties and commercial banks to arrange for recovery of losses, refund of amounts and management of penalties.
- Carry out any other task assigned by reporting line in Fraud Risk.
- Incumbent shall be responsible to adhere by Telenor Microfinance Bank Behaviours & Values in all aspects of his/her work conduct.
- 12. Ensure that a culture of risk and compliance management is implemented, and institute performance measures tied to individual risk and compliance responsibilities.

Education: BBA/MBA/MS
Experience & Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Experience with online payments / debit cards / frauds will be a plus
- Basic knowledge and understanding of concepts and methodologies related to fraud and evidence gathering
- Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation Skills
- Knowledge about IBFT & OPS
