We are hiring for the position of Assistant Manager – Purchasing
Responsibilities include –
- Procurement of import material (consumables, spares, tools, and other engineering items).
- Multi-sourcing for import materials in order to achieve cost reduction.
- Analyzing freight and forex impact on procured items.
- Strong coordination with internal customers including logistics and production department for timely and effective procurement of consumables to avoid any potential line stoppage.
- Experience in Auto industry will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination with foreign suppliers for order and timely delivery of material.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Qualification:
- Bachelors of Engineering / BS Supply Chain
Competencies:
- Command on Excel.
- User of SAP (MM Module).
- Experience of procurement in a multinational organization.
Minimum Experience:
Must have at least 2-3 years of experience
